How do I issue a Worldpay eCommerce refund in Worldpay Dashboard?

  1. From the menu, click Transactions and click into Online Transactions

       
  2. Locate the transaction you wish to refund from the transaction list
    • For information on how to locate specific transactions, please refer to: What is the Online Transactions page in Worldpay Dashboard?
  3. Click into the transaction you wish to refund and click the Refund button
  4. Select either Full refund or Partial refund as required

    • If you are issuing a Partial refund, you will need to enter the amount you are refunding
  5. Click Continue

      
  6. Review the details and click Confirm to issue the refund back to the cardholder
  7. You should see the following Success message:
  8. Once the refund has been processed, a refund Payment Event will show within the Transaction History section

    • Once the refund has been processed, it will be displayed within the Processed Payments tab – this is typically the next day
