Please note: You must be an Admin user of Worldpay Dashboard to set up Amex.
If you are not an Admin user, please ask an Admin user for your business to follow the steps below.
If you would like to accept Amex payments on your Worldpay eCommerce account, please follow the steps below to enable this.
- Log in to your Worldpay eCommerce account via Worldpay Dashboard
- Navigate to the Configuration Settings tab and click into Payment Methods
- Within the Inactive Cards section, click the Add button next to Amex
- If Amex shows within the Active Cards section, you are already set up to accept Amex payments and do not need to complete the remaining steps
- Click Get Started
- You will be asked to provide Your personal details, please complete all required fields and click Continue
- Provide Your home address and click Continue
- You will be asked to provide Contact details for shopper payment support, please complete all required fields
- Open and read the additional Amex Terms & Conditions
- Tick to agree to the Terms & Conditions and click Submit
- Enter your Worldpay eCommerce password, OTP code (sent to your phone number) and click Submit
- You should see a Success pop-up message
- If you see an Error message, you can click Try again to resubmit the request. If do not wish to try again, you can close the pop-up and the request will not be resubmitted

- It typically takes a few minutes for the request to be completed, however, it can take up to 7 working days. Once Amex has been successfully set up as a payment method, it will be displayed under the Active Cards section
